Beatrice and her ghostly paranormal investigating partner, Ted, set off to Portchester to investigate a woman's report of a ghost in her recently inherited home. Roles are reversed as Beatrice finds herself unable to directly tackle the problem herself, While Ted is forced to confront the reality of resisting the pull of the afterlife.
